span style="line-height: 15.8599996566772px;">MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Keyes hit the headlines first for having a plan to travel using 21 first class plane rides without paying for them, getting him 20,000-miles of flight time. Aside from his eBooks, Keyes shared some of his techniques for having cost-free world exploration with the Daily Mail.
One of his tips is to sign up for credit cards that give high registration bonuses with relatively low spending thresholds. An issue is that this is more applicable to those living in the United States.
He suggests that every expenditure should be done through these credit cards to hit the thresholds, enabling the user to gain bonus points that could be translated into flight tickets. The warning is that everyone still has to be responsible while using these cards.
There are also some flight schedules that cost cheaper to the cheapest. According to Keyes, the traveler must schedule his/her trip on days like Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, which were observed to have the cheapest plane tickets.
Keep a rosary always within your reach. Find the perfect rosaries for home, work and parish.
Keyes explained that travelers should check the day before and after for these cheaper fares.
According to him, most of these flights leave at late night and arrive by early morning. Technicalities on time differences could make one miss the flight, or have it scheduled before or after the desired day.
The savvy traveler also said that one should chase the fare if looking for cheaper travels, and do not book in advance, especially for domestic flights.
Making the itinerary more flexible allows you to catch the low-priced travels. Don't settle for direct flights because there could be gateway airports with airlines offering cheaper plane tickets in total to get to the desired destination.
Travelers are also advised to make the most out of delayed flights by asking for money or frequent flyer miles, not flight vouchers. Lastly, Keyes reminds everyone to maximize Twitter and email alerts by keeping up with the latest prices and promos. You might even subscribe to his own newsletter through email.
